Originally intended as an alternative marketplace for peer-to-peer selling of previously-owned items, RocketHawk took on a whole new identity in 2020. The challenges of a global pandemic on small businesses were massive and proved devastating for many. Supporting local without the ability to physically walk into a store proved inconvenient in contrast to the experience provided by e-commerce giants like Amazon, Etsy, Wayfair, etc. It was in this moment, that the true purpose of RocketHawk was revealed – provide local businesses and consumers with a more convenient online shopping experience. Moreover, what started as a marketplace simply for goods quickly expanded into services, experiences, and even digital content.
